Royal Enfield Classic 350 GST reduced, now from September 22, the price will be reduced by up to 20,000
Under the GST 2.0 system of the Government of India, now the GST rate on petrol two-wheelers with engine capacity of 350cc or less has been reduced from 28% to 18%. This new rate will be applicable from 22 September 2025, which will directly affect bikes like Royal Enfield Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350. Royal Enfield has clearly announced that it will give the full benefit of this reduction to the customers, that is, after September 22, there will be a big drop in the prices of these bikes.
How cheap will Classic 350 be?
The current price of Classic 350 ranges from ₹ 1,97,253 to ₹ 2,34,972 according to the variant. After the GST cut, the price of the top variant can come down to around ₹ 2,12,972, i.e. savings of up to ₹ 22,000 are possible. According to some showrooms, the price will come down by an average of Rs 20,000-25,000, and including the financing offer, customers can get a total benefit of up to Rs 30,000. However, the company will release the final prices only on September 22.
Why was GST reduced?
The government aims to boost the two-wheeler segment, so that more and more people can buy their first bike. Not only Royal Enfield, but all 350cc or less bikes of companies like Hero, Honda, Bajaj, TVS will benefit from this. Those who want to buy bikes bigger than 350cc like Himalayan 450, Guerrilla 450, Interceptor 650, Shotgun 650, will now have to pay a higher price, because GST on these has been increased to 40%.
